Aug. 1st, 2018 02:23 pmThe management sent me to a hotel for a brief beachside vacation.
Got in my room early, was expecting rain but had the weather clear up by the time I got here, jumped in the ocean, found some neat rocks, ate a blue cheese bacon bbq burger and chocolate ice cream, and it's barely past noon.
The hotel itself is a bed-and-breakfast type deal that is- pardon my french- outrageously fucking charming. The staff is quite nice.
I've been set up in a room they call, "The Violet Room". I don't know if there are multiple Violet Rooms or what they are like, but in mine the wallpaper is violets, the bedside table and dresser have crude, sponge-pressed violets painted on their drawers, and the decorative plates on the wall are made up with different intensities of purple.
I'm writing this down because it's good to try to remember the good days. I'm going to watch some Bible Reloaded and fall asleep naked.
