"I want to emphasize the historical context behind what we're reading."
"I respect whatever interpretations you have of the text, but there's a deeper meaning I think you're missing and I want you to consider!"
"I respect you having your own interpretations, buuuuuut I'm gonna be a little insistent on my own."
"I am just going to let the entire chat shoot the breeze for the better part of the hour, because I want to value your right to voice your opinion even if it has fuck-all to do with what we're reading."
