Not just mindlessly searching for Youtube videos I have no actual interest or investment in, or mindlessly browsing pictures of figurines I'm too poor to buy, or just...trying to avoid things that actually interest me because they intimidate me?
Could I in fact be steadily approaching the long-fabled, rarely-reported, "Life I Can Be Proud Of"?
I actually wonder if this sudden surge of energy and motivation, simply has to do with how much I got done today. Scheduled a haircut, looked into repairing my computer, got some feedback on the dog-sitting job...all of my own volition.
I made the calls myself, I took the initiative, I decided these things needed to be done. No consulting with the management needed, except to get the number of the salon.
Hm! Perhaps that list I posted yesterday forced me to really confront those thoughts.
I'm slightly proud of myself. Imagine that. :)
